I got a callback and they asked me to contact their travel agent to arrange my trip and hotel accommodation. Mind you my interview was in St. Louis and I was leaving from Champaign. I asked the travel agent to book a flight which ended up costing over $1000. When the firm got the bill, they were livid. But did they really expect me to drive 3 hours for a job that was not guaranteed?
