A 3L on law review with me offered to send me her outline for a class I was taking. I am African American, the 3L is Caucasion. In sections about discrimination, the 3L called minorities "Colored." While I'm grateful for the "A" outline I want to tell the 3L "colored" is a derogatory term...but maybe they already know that.

I think that the best lesson that one can learn in law school is to realize that everything they tell you about outlining and studying is crap. I don't really focus until about 2 weeks before the finals, because if I do, I will self-destruct. Law school is only stressful because we make it so...
