Criminal law was my favorite 1L class. I knew I was going to do well but I got sick the day before my exam and ended up with a C+. I hate that law school exams are based on 1 final.

My cumulative GPA was a 2.9. My previous semester GPA was a 3.5. I told the firm my "GPA" was a 3.5. I got a call back and when the partner asked for my transcript, he said my school had made a mistake on my transcript because my GPA was lower. HR caught on and I didn't even get reimbursed for traveling expenses.

Having a 3.68 while looking for a job as a 3L is no good. I needed that GPA as a 1L. Now it's kinda late.
