During my 2L interview season, I ended up with 2 offers. 1 from a mid-sized firm and 1 from a big-sized firm. I took the big law job because it paid 3K a week. Maybe if I had taken the other offer, I may have a full time job. My advice to all you kids - don't chase the $$$.

I guess they were not joking when they said that the bottom 20% will not be here next year. About 10% have already been dismissed for getting DUIs.

I was asked to give a talk to incoming law students about getting ready for law school. What am I going to say? I spent my days before law school drinking beer and watching Seinfeld.

I smoked with my professor after class one day. We competed to see who could blow the best smoke rings. He gave me an A.

Knowing that I was getting called on the following day in class, I spent the entire night outlining for class. I felt prepared the next morning only to discover that I had outlined the wrong damn cases.
